This prop was designed to showcase the evolution of Berluti’s iconic shoes, such as the Alessandro and Andy, across three generations. The evolution of these designs respects the brand’s DNA while adapting to the tastes of contemporary clients. With such an emotionally rich history, the display needed to reflect the same reverence.
One of the designs draws inspiration from Berluti’s iconic shoe sole, featuring nails and leather soles used to create a display where the shoes rest at varying heights, leaning on scaled nails. This playful approach honors Berluti’s heritage while offering a fresh, dynamic way to present these iconic shoes.
Another version of this prop was developed with a more subtle elegance to align with other store displays crafted from metal. While maintaining a refined appearance, this prop holds a delightful surprise for the client: when a shoe is removed, a small shoe print remains, serving as both a stand and a playful homage to Berluti’s craftsmanship, ensuring the brand’s spirit is felt even when the product is not physically present.
